8th Day in Tibet

On the eighth day, the trip is from Deqin to Zhuka, a total of 250 km. The sun is rising, there are two peaks turning golden. Communications with snow mountain face to face have touched people so badly. The snow mountain stands there for more than ten million years which is decades compared with human beings.

We start at 8:30 and today’s destination is rainbow hotel taipei in Tibet. There is full of the mountains that are almost bare in front of us, and some small trees between two peaks.

The road in front of us needs to be repaired until eleven. So we take out camera and shake hands with the wranglers, and chat with construction workers.

Our dog greets with everyone and is welcomed by the comrades.

We get to Tibet finally where we have to have car checked. Accepting the suggestions of Tibetan driver, we decide to pass through Mangkang and live in Zhuka with herdsmen so that we can come across Dongda Mountain so easily tomorrow. Then we live in a resort by river in Zhuka, the accommodation is not so good.

On the ninth day, we drive from Zhuka to Basu, a total of 340 kilometers. Refueling fees: 490 yuan

Because of the roads, we almost cross over the whole journey. We spend four hours from 8am to 12am trespassing over Dongda Mountain with an altitude of 5008 meters and Yela Mountains with an altitude of 4658 meters.

We arrive at Zuogong at 1:00 pm, and have our car examined by Zuogong E family and it makes a good showing without any problems.

The tenth day, we drive from Basu to Bomi, a total of 220 km. Refueling fees: 160 yuan.

We find the rear wheel on the right cut by two nails when we start in the morning, and it costs us 30 yuan to fix it, we hope it’s not pierced by other man on purpose.

On the eleventh day, we drive from Bomi to Basongcuo, a total of 280 km. Refueling fees: 145 yuan.

We live in Basongcuo that is the sacred lake of Red Hats at night. The stars dot thickly in the sky, as if we can reach and grab a handful of them.

The examination and registration of the limit speed on the roadside. This reminds me to the heavy traffic in Beijing during Beijing Xian tour approximately 2 years ago.

On one side, there are steep cliffs; on the other side, there is the turbulent Yarlung Zangbo River.

The lake of Basongcuo means the green lake in Tibetan with an altitude of more than 3700 meters.
